Seriously.

Before you begin the deep analyzation techniques let me explain:

Picture it, Sicily – 1932…just kidding.  I was working on another project.  I swear I entered another url that is completely outside the realm that is WordPress and my editor popped up for this site.  You do know I manage a bunch of websites, don’t you?  So here I am.  It is almost like a real editor showed up to tell me to show Where To Go 210 some love but in some weird, digital form.

Then I remembered why it would be important to post today.  I can’t believe I almost forgot! Mannnnnnnnn, Cowboy’s Dance Hall Ladies Night.  Yes.  Oh my goodness, yes.  Yes, yes, it’s country but it does that thing that country bars do when the liquor sales start kachinging.  It turns….ummm…what would you call it without offending people but really it’s a huge compliment…????

Just go see.  NO matter who you are. It’s Lady’s Night, wimmins and gentle dudes.  Wednesday, August 29 2018, dagnabit.

Dang Retox!  I got like three steps in that place and drinks were already being thrown my way!  Y’all know how to treat one of the fairer sex right!  Even the pretty ladies were super friendly.

Thursday night at Retox doesn’t suck.

So, it’s been a minute but all the craziness in Orlando has me not wanting to put people out there in the world…

…but we’re Americans and we don’t stop for anybody…do we?

So let’s do this.

Bob Marley

Nationality: Jamaican
Type: Musician
Born: February 06, 1945
Died: May 11, 1981
Robert Nesta “Bob” Marley, OM was a Jamaican reggae singer, song writer, musician, and guitarist who achieved international fame and acclaim. Starting out in 1963 with the group The Wailers, he forged a distinctive songwriting and vocal style that would later resonate with audiences worldwide. The Wailers would go on to release some of the earliest reggae records with producer Lee Scratch Perry. After the Wailers disbanded in 1974, Marley pursued a solo career that culminated in the release of the album Exodus in 1977, which established his worldwide reputation and produced his status as one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, with sales of more than 75 million records. He was a committed Rastafari who infused his music with a sense of spirituality.”

mlkmap

For years, San Antonio has consistently maintained a record amount of MLK March attendees; beating out the largest metroplexes.  I believe it has something to do with the diversity in this great city.  If you have ever been to a march, you were probably more than just pleasantly surprised to see the many different people who walked with you.  The essence of peace is in the air as well as a coming-together of beautiful souls from different backgrounds.

The march starts at 10:00.  Hope to see you there.

VIA Metropolitan Transit will offer complimentary bus service to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day March on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016.

To access the service, riders are asked to park at Freeman Coliseum, 3201 E. Houston St. (Lot 1), or St. Philip’s College, 1801 Martin Luther King Dr. (Lot 22), between 8 and 10 a.m., Monday. The drop-off point for service to the march will be on MLK Drive, west of Upland Drive. The pick-up location for return service will be at Pittman Sullivan Park, 1101 Iowa St. Buses will return between noon and 3 p.m.”
